Let’s Make Lotions and Potions: Using Essential Oils and Plants

In this class you will have the opportunity to make enriching hand creams, lip balms, room sprays, bath salts and more. You will gain some knowledge of essential oils and plants. Learn about surfactants and how to give your products a longer shelf life. Discover the beauty of creating blends with essential oils by considering their top, middle and base notes. This fun class teaches you blending skills and gives you ideas to create new products for yourself and your friends. Some knowledge of essential oils prior to class is helpful.

Creating a Ceremony for Animals

This class is designed to teach you how to use plants and essential oils as a blessing and healing practice for your animals. You will learn the art of ceremony, how to perform plant brushings, how to create healing herbal baths, and the use of sacred oils and plants. These techniques can be used with your animals as a blessing, for a celebration, during an illness, in health, and in their passing. At the end of the class we will perform a ceremony for you and your animals.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice and an early Summer Harvest
June 21st, Saturday 10:00 – 4:00 pm
Join us on this first day of summer to gather some herbal healing wisdom for you and your family. We’ll make fresh plant medicines including teas, fresh honey extracts, and vinegar and brandy tinctures using fresh herbs from the garden. We will join in a circle to honor the traditions that deepen our connection with nature. We will make a prayer stick as a meditative tool and a way to show our appreciation to mother nature and the sun.

Creating Herbal and Essential Oil blends for Everyday needs

In this class we will discuss the plants and essential oils that are helpful for conditions such as: insomnia, over thinking, anxiety, stress, exhaustion, toothaches, stomach aches and more. We will discuss how to make your own teas, tinctures and essential oil blends to help with these conditions. We will also practice making teas, tinctures and an essential oil blend for you to take home.
