Hi everyone and Happy Spring! FrogWorks has decided to make our newsletter bimonthly. Remember to save this for future reference, but if you do delete it, you can always view it again on our website on the education page.

Grapefruit - Citrus paradisi

The Grapefruit Tree is native to tropical Asia and the West Indies. It is now cultivated in California, Florida, Brazil and Israel. This tree stands over 20 to 33 feet high with glossy green leaves and large yellow fruit.

The essential oil is obtained by cold expression of the fruit's peel. It is a yellowish or greenish liquid with a fresh, sweet citrus aroma. It is a wonderful essential oil that helps with congested and oily skin and tones the skin and tissues. It has been reported to help with cellulites; so add some grapefruit oil to your next Aromatic Party Salt Scrub. The scent of grapefruit essential oil is so light and delicate that it helps lift the spirits immediately. It can also be useful for relieving headaches, nervous exhaustion and all types of stress.

Grapefruit also shares the nutritional qualities of other citrus species being high in Vitamin C and a valuable protection against infectious illness.

FrogWorks' Facial Gel was designed as a replenishing skin care product. Many people comment on how soft and toned their faces feel after application.

Our Facial Gel gets its skin rejuvenating qualities from the Lavender, Neroli and Carrot Seed essential oils. Lavender is known for its balancing action on sebum and for promoting growth of new cells. Neroli regenerates skin cells and improves the skin's elasticity. Carrot Seed improves the complexion of the skin due to its strengthening effect on red blood cells; and it also increases skin tone elasticity. Carrot Seed is also noted to give a more youthful appearance and is said to remove age spots. This product is a great addition to the rest of your facial skin care products.

Healing Balm was originally designed to help with my husband's finger cracks, my horse's hock sores and my dog's little sores on the tips of his ears. Let's Make Lotions and Potions: Using Essential Oils and Herbs
April 11, Wednesday 6:00 - 9:00 pm

In this class you will learn to make enriching hand creams, lip balms, room sprays, and more. You will gain a little knowledge about essential oils and herbs. Be prepared to take home your enriching lotions and potions. All materials provided. FrogWorks recommends taking the "Intro to Aromatherapy" or "Basic Aromatherapy" classes to gain more knowledge about essential oils and plants.

Aromatic PartyTM Time
April 27, Friday 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Experience an Aromatic PartyTM designed by FrogWorks. You will learn about essential oils and plants. We will have fun, laughter, food and drinks. Everyone will make a product, using essential oils and plants, to take home. Come enjoy the party and learn how to have your own Aromatic PartyTM at Kaeru Studio. These parties are a lot of fun and a great way to check out Kaeru Studio. Bring a friend or daughter!

"Realize Your Dreams" Party
May 9th, Wednesday 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Join a great community of people and "realize your dreams." We will create dream posters or boxes from magazine cut-outs, have great conversation and make dream pillows to help affirm our dreams while we sleep. This party is designed for you to take the time to "realize your dreams" in a creative manner and with like-minded people. So come and dream while enjoying some delicious snacks and drinks.
